This project seeks to offer insights into both the contemporary and historical Black experience. Utilizing a collage that explores the convergence and disruption of time, the project delves into the literary works of James Baldwin, who is the focal point. Incorporating imagery from significant protests like The March on Washington and The Memphis Sanitation Strike, as well as recent demonstrations aligned with the Black Lives Matter Movement, the poster pays homage to Civil Rights leaders dedicated to serving their communities.
